– June: Matt Kelly successfully finished his Ph.D. open defense. Congratulations!
– May: Zhijun (Jim) Ma successfully finished his Ph.D. open defense. Congratulations!
2023
– November: Matthew and Nuwani successfully finished Ph.D. open defense. Congratulations!
– June: We received a NIH-NIGMS Administrative Supplement Award to purchase a new instrument.
– May: Angela Heintel accepted an offer from Columbia Chemical. Congratulations!
– April: Matt, Matthew, and Prem received departmental graduate awards/fellowships. Chase received a departmental UG summer fellowship. Congratulations!
– April: We received a "CCTST Pilot Translation Research Grant (TRG)" award, regarding our research on Coronaviral RNA proofreading nucleases.
– March: We finalized the design of our new lab in the "New Chemistry Building" (2025).
– February: Sam successfully finished his closed defense. Congratulations!
– January: Mayowa Ojumah joined our group as a graduate student. Welcome!!
